Last week, LVI Politics students took a trip to the Houses of Parliament and were given a tour around the two chambers: the Commons and Lords. After an incredibly exciting and enchanting tour experience around the building, the students received a workshop about pressure groups, lobbyists, and think tanks. The students were described as the 鈥渕ost on it school he鈥檚 ever had鈥� by the workshop tutor.
After the workshop, the students enjoyed a Q&A with the MPs staffers, before having a further Q&A with Baroness Gisela Stuart. She most definitely gave many of the students a run for their money with their arguments!
