This year’s Book Week was dedicated to the celebration of poetry,听and the听children in听Years 3听–听6 enjoyed听a visit from popular poet and author,听A. F. Harrold.听听

A day of fun and laughter was had in the library and many of the children chose to听purchase听a book of poems which Ashley kindly signed for them.听

听Later in the week,听a听competition was held, in which the children were encouraged to听write听a poem based on a book they had听enjoyed.A听display of the听fabulous poems听written听has now been created outside the library.听
