This week,ÌýasÌýtheÌýCollegeÌýreturnsÌýto a more normal routine,ÌýtheÌýMusic department held their first concertÌýwithÌýa live audience,ÌýsinceÌýFebruary 2020.ÌýÌý

ÌýAs part of the , the College hostedÌýa large audience from the local communityÌýwho wereÌýkeen to support theÌýliveÌýevent.ÌýThe concertÌýsawÌýperformancesÌýbyÌýmusicÌýscholarsÌýplayingÌýa vast variety of instruments and musical styles.ÌýThere was particularly fine playing and singing from Upper Sixth music scholarsÌý–ÌýincludingÌýChloe A,Ìýperforming aÌýpiece byÌýPoulencÌýon the flute and Ellie B,ÌýwhoÌýtackledÌýa tricky pieceÌýbyÌýHandelÌýon the recorder.ÌýÌý

It was great to see so manyÌýpupils, fromÌýYear 7 to UpperÌýSixth,Ìýkeen to perform, especially theÌýnewÌýpupilsÌýwho joinedÌýthe schoolÌýat the start of the new academic year, justÌýtwo weeks prior to theÌýconcert.Ìý
