This week,听as听the听College听returns听to a more normal routine,听the听Music department held their first concert听with听a live audience,听since听February 2020.听听
听As part of the , the College hosted听a large audience from the local community听who were听keen to support the听live听event.听The concert听saw听performances听by听music听scholars听playing听a vast variety of instruments and musical styles.听There was particularly fine playing and singing from Upper Sixth music scholars听鈥撎齣ncluding听Chloe A,听performing a听piece by听Poulenc听on the flute and Ellie B,听who听tackled听a tricky piece听by听Handel听on the recorder.听听
It was great to see so many听pupils, from听Year 7 to Upper听Sixth,听keen to perform, especially the听new听pupils听who joined听the school听at the start of the new academic year, just听two weeks prior to the听concert.听
