GCSE and A-level results 2024
性世界传媒 students have much to celebrate as they achieved excellent results in both their GCSE and A-level exams this year.
For GCSEs, an impressive 79% of grades were awarded at 7鈥�9. Head of College, Mr. Dominic Mott, expressed his pride in the students鈥� accomplishments. 鈥淭his talented group has worked hard and taken full advantage of the extra clinics and revision sessions on offer; these pupils fully deserve their excellent results. They can now excitedly look ahead to starting their Sixth Form journeys knowing that they have done themselves justice. We are thrilled for them, and I can鈥檛 wait to see them continue to develop as they embark on their A-level courses.鈥�
The success continued with the Upper Sixth students, who celebrated the best-ever set of A-level results at the College. An outstanding 89% of grades were awarded at A* to B, with over 60% of those being A and A* grades. These results are a testament to the students鈥� dedication and hard work over the past two years.
Head of College, Dominic Mott, hugely proud of the students, had this to say 鈥淭his remarkable group of students should be immensely proud of these stellar results, which are the product of a huge amount of collective hard work over the last two years. They have been superbly supported by our exceptional teachers, but the students should take full credit for what they have achieved, not least because they have done so whilst simultaneously performing at such a high level in sport, music, drama, and engaging with every other aspect of school life.鈥�
The vast majority of these students are now set to attend some of the most prestigious universities in the country, with 98% securing a place at one of their top two choices. As they leave school, they carry not only excellent grades but also the confidence, independence, and values that will serve them well in their future endeavours. Reflecting on their journey, Mr. Mott added, 鈥淭oday marks the final page in the final chapter of their school lives, so it is wonderful to see them write such happy endings for themselves. They have fully earned these results, and no one can take their successes away from them. They leave us prepared for life, and we wish them all the best for the next exciting chapter.鈥�
