On the first Friday of the year, Shell students embarked on an exhilarating and memorable trip to . The day, which began with grey skies and drizzle, quickly turned into a showcase of enthusiasm and resilience as students dove into a range of outdoor activities.
The students were eager to engage in all the activities from archery to abseiling. The archery sessions proved to be a highlight, with students honing their focus and precision as they aimed at targets. The abseiling experience, in the wet conditions added an extra thrill to the day as the pupils were almost sliding down the wall on their descent!
Throughout the day, the camaraderie among the students was evident. Laughter and cheers echoed through the grounds as they navigated the various activities. The rainy weather, rather than being a hindrance, became an integral part of the day’s experience, adding to the adventure and creating lasting memories.
By the end of the trip, the students left Blackland Farm with a sense of achievement and a renewed appreciation for teamwork and outdoor challenges. The day showcased their ability to adapt and thrive in less-than-ideal conditions, and the memories created will undoubtedly be cherished for years to come.
