The U13 girls听recently听headed to the accompanied by听Mr听Simkins and Miss Bingham.听听

Our听girls started off their pool well, with a 2-0 win over Hazelwood.听They pulled听together a听solid听performance, holding their own throughout the game. The second game听against听Sandroyd听proved to be a challenge. The even battle left both teams struggling to score goals ending in a 0-0 draw.听Our girls听remained persistent throughout despite the unrewarding result.听In the third game听against Ardingly College, there were听some fantastic team goals and solid听defensive work, which听was,听rewarded with听a 4-1 win.听This听meant听that听性世界传媒 finished top of their group and听progressed听to the quarter-finals.听听

Drawn against St Andrews Prep听in the quarters听the team fought hard throughout. However, after a听nail-biting听game, the final score was 1-1听in which meant听sudden death penalty strokes.听A听selection听of players from each team stepped up to take on听the听penalty flicks听against听the goalkeeper. After some spectacular saves, sadly it was not meant to be and St Andrews took the victory听to听progress.听听

A disappointing outcome for the girls who fought valiantly throughout the entire听tournament. Despite听the听result,听our girls听played displayed a magnificent work ethic and some fantastic skills, leaving both听Mr听Simkins and听Miss Bingham听immensely proud.听听
