Our Year 1 students had an unforgettable adventure at the , where they had the rare opportunity to enjoy the entire place to themselves. From the moment they stepped through the gates, excitement was in the air as they explored the wonders of British wildlife.

The children were delighted to meet a variety of incredible animals, including a friendly owl, a prickly hedgehog, two curious foxes, playful red squirrels, and many more fascinating creatures. Each animal encounter brought big smiles and endless questions from the enthusiastic class.

One of the highlights of the trip was the chance to interact with the knowledgeable wildlife keeper, who patiently answered the Year 1s’ many questions. The students were full of curiosity, asking everything from how foxes hunt to what owls eat in the wild. It was a wonderful learning experience, giving the children a deeper understanding of the importance of wildlife conservation.

The children’s passion for wildlife has certainly been ignited, and they left the British Wildlife Centre full of new knowledge and unforgettable memories!
